Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at bodicraftwellness@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive practice that applies focused pressure to specific points on the feet. These points correspond with different areas of the body. Most importantly, it gives you permission to stop, get comfortable, and simply receive for a while.

We’ll start with a brief conversation about you, what brings you in, and anything I should know before we begin. Then you’ll settle comfortably into the chair, remove your socks and shoes, and I’ll take it from there. There’s nothing you need to “do” during your session.

Absolutely not. Some people chat, some close their eyes, and some become suspiciously quiet about five minutes in. This is your time. Conversation is always optional.

Perfect feet are not a requirement. They’ve carried you around your entire life — they’re allowed to look like they’ve been doing the job. Clean feet are appreciated; pedicures are not required.

Usually much less than people expect. Reflexology uses intentional pressure rather than light, feathery touch. If something does tickle, we can adjust the pressure.

Reflexology should not be an endurance event. Some areas may feel tender or surprisingly sensitive, but pressure can always be adjusted. Please tell me what you’re feeling — there are no prizes for suffering quietly.

Whatever you’re comfortable in. You’ll remain fully clothed and only your shoes and socks need to come off. Comfortable clothes are ideal if you plan to fully embrace the relaxing part.

Then I’ll consider that excellent feedback. Falling asleep is completely fine — and you will still receive your full session.

No. Reflexology can be adapted for different ages and stages of life, including children and teens. Sessions and pressure can be adjusted to suit the individual.

No. Reflexology is a complementary wellness practice and does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. It can be used alongside the care you receive from qualified healthcare professionals.

Appointments take place in Bodicraft’s Reset Room, a dedicated private space designed to be comfortable, quiet and unhurried.

Then you’re exactly as experienced as you need to be. There’s no etiquette to know and nothing to prepare for. Come as you are, ask whatever you need to ask, and I’ll guide you through the rest.

Because sometimes taking care of yourself doesn’t need to involve accomplishing anything. At Bodicraft, you’re invited to relax, allow yourself to receive, and leave feeling a little more reset than when you arrived.
