Bodicraft grew from something I’ve always been drawn to: helping people feel comfortable, cared for and a little more like themselves.
My background is in Child & Youth Counselling, and much of my life has been spent working with people, raising a family, running businesses and being involved in my community. Over the years, I’ve learned that care doesn’t always have to involve fixing something. Sometimes what people need most is simply a place where nothing is being asked of them.
That idea is at the heart of Bodicraft.
I came to reflexology later in life, at a time when I was thinking seriously about what I wanted the next chapter of my working life to look like. I wanted work that was personal and meaningful, that allowed me to keep learning, and that gave me the opportunity to offer people something increasingly rare: undivided attention and permission to stop for a while.

I trained in reflexology with a particular interest in creating an experience that feels welcoming rather than clinical. You don’t need to know anything about reflexology before you arrive. You don’t need perfect feet, the right clothes, or the ability to switch off your busy brain on command. You just need to show up.
Bodicraft is intentionally small and personal. Sessions take place in Bodicraft’s Reset Room, a dedicated private space within my home in the Ottawa Valley. There is no busy waiting room and no revolving door of clients. Your appointment is your time.
I don’t believe wellness needs to be mysterious or complicated. I believe in kindness, appropriate touch, good boundaries, curiosity, humour when it’s needed, and making people feel genuinely welcome.

I’m especially interested in continuing my education in reflexology for children and teens. My counselling background has given me a lasting appreciation for young people and for the importance of safe, respectful spaces where they can simply be without having to perform, explain or have all the answers.
Bodicraft will continue to grow as I do, but I want its purpose to remain simple: to offer a quiet, comfortable place where you can set everything else down for a little while.
That is what I want Bodicraft to be.
A quiet place to come as you are.
Relax. Receive. Reset.
